Biophysical Model for Beat - to - Beat Variations of Vectorcardiogram

چکیده
For a realistic biophysical model, a linear deformation of the myocardium lead to a linear transformation of the orthogonal electrocardiosignals under the condition of topological invariability of the depolarization and repolarization processes in the myocardium. Certain relationships have been found between the linear transformations in the physical and functional spaces. Several practically important conclusions follow as a logical consequence of these statements.

Beat-to-Beat Vectorcardiographic Analysis of Ventricular Depolarization and Repolarization in Myocardial Infarction
OBJECTIVES Increased beat-to-beat variability in the QT interval has been associated with heart disease and mortality. The purpose of this study was to investigate the beat-to-beat spatial and temporal variations of ventricular depolarization and repolarization in vectorcardiogram (VCG) for characterising myocardial infarction (MI) patients. METHODS Standard 12-lead ECGs of 84 MI patients (22...

Background: The airway surface liquid (ASL), which is a ï‚uid layer coating the interior epithelial surface of the bronchi and bronchiolesis, plays an important defensive role against foreign particles and chemicals entering lungs. Objective: Numerical investigation has been employed to solve two-layer model consisting of mucus layer as a viscoelastic fluid and periciliary liquid layer as a New...
متن کاملAn artificial vector model for generating abnormal electrocardiographic rhythms.
We present generalizations of our previously published artificial models for generating multi-channel ECG to provide simulations of abnormal cardiac rhythms. Using a three-dimensional vectorcardiogram (VCG) formulation, we generate the normal cardiac dipole for a patient using a sum of Gaussian kernels, fitted to real VCG recordings. Abnormal beats are specified either as perturbations to the n...
متن کاملContinuous Rapid Quantification of Stroke Volume Using Magnetohydrodynamic Voltages in 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
BACKGROUND To develop a technique to noninvasively estimate stroke volume in real time during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided procedures, based on induced magnetohydrodynamic voltages (VMHD) that occur in ECG recordings during MRI exams, leaving the MRI scanner free to perform other imaging tasks. Because of the relationship between blood flow (BF) and VMHD, we hypothesized that a metho...
متن کاملMechanisms of intrinsic beating variability in cardiac cell cultures and model pacemaker networks.
Heart rate variability (HRV) exhibits fluctuations characterized by a power law behavior of its power spectrum. The interpretation of this nonlinear HRV behavior, resulting from interactions between extracardiac regulatory mechanisms, could be clinically useful. However, the involvement of intrinsic variations of pacemaker rate in HRV has scarcely been investigated. We examined beating variabil...
